Facebook LEGO Challenge
LEGO lovers unite! Every month on the 4th Friday, we’ll post a building challenge on our Facebook Event page. You will have a month to complete the challenge. New STEAM topics are explored each month, in these hands-on programs for school age children. Held one Saturday each month. Leap into Science is an interactive program that focuses on various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) topics. Join educator Ben Olewiler to ask and answer questions like scientists do. Families work together to learn scientific information from books, make observations and predictions, and then conduct science experiments to investigate answers. February's theme is Freeze Time. Our read to the dogs program is designed for beginner readers, reluctant readers, readers who need some practice and for readers who love dogs. How does the program work? Register for a private 15 minute reading session with the dog of your choice. Bring your own reading material. Sit down, cuddle up, start reading aloud, and be prepared to be sniffed, possibly licked, but definitely loved by our sweet dogs! Note: MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN FOR THIS PROGRAM!

Girl Scouts in Your Community
Join us for Girl Scouts in Your Community. Girls in grades K-5 are invited to join our community troops in your neighborhoods. These troops will be led by GSHPA staff every week for four months, with no cost to your girls. Our program will start with our Becoming Me Series in connection with Michelle Obama’s book, Becoming, and continues with activities focused in our four Girl Scout pillars, Life Skills, STEM, Entrepreneur and Outdoors. 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Grades K-1 Daisies

Join Miss Kelly from Guthrie Memorial Library and Miss Renae from Codorus State Park to learn about a different native animal each week. Stories, games and craft overlooking the lake. We will be in the Classroom Building with some outdoor activities. Masks are required inside the building. We will be sending the crafts home with you for this session.

In Person! We welcome kids in person to share our LEGOs. Bring your imagination and build a masterpiece for our display. Ages 6 and up. No Registration Required. You do not need to reserve a bin if you participate in person. Prefer to participate remotely?
